Bigg Boss OTT 2 began airing just days ago and is already the talk of the town, not only because of its unique concept this year but also because of the contestants.
For the first time, a contestant was evicted on the very first episode of Bigg Boss. And that person was Puneet Superstar. A controversy soon followed, and Puneet has been speaking out against the show on social media, with his latest target being MC Stan, who was a panellist on the grand premiere episode.
Actor Madhav Shharma, who claims that he was noted to be in talks with the makers of the show to be a part of Bigg Boss this year, is one of the people who have come out in support of Puneet.
Calling Puneet his most favourite contestant, the former Love School contestants lashed out at MC Stan, saying, "MC Stan called Puneet Superstar's content cringe. What is his content? You cannot disrespect anyone’s genre. He releases songs filled with cusses. I didn’t even know who Stan was when he came on the show. When I heard his songs, they were filled with abuse. Yo Yo Honey Singh also released a video with cusses once and stopped there, but MC Stan continues releasing such songs back-to-back. The good thing about Salman sir (the host, Salman Khan) is that he has strictly stated that nobody will abuse on this show, even if it’s on OTT."
Talking about Puneet's recent task and eviction in the show, Madhav added, "I didn’t understand Avinash’s (Schdeva) logic. He gave the coin to the task and then regretted it. I think he’s doing all this to please people. Also, when Avinash confronted Abhishek Malhan about being called a psycho, he remained quiet. Why were you scared, Abhishek? Why couldn’t you give it back? If these people have to get scared, then why are they on the show? I feel that Puneet was better than all of them because he at least had the guts to be honest and give it back to the contestants."
Speaking about his fan following, Madhav added, "Puneet Superstar recently went Live on his Instagram page and had 7,00,000 live viewers. Just look at his fan following. I think everyone is scared of him and thinks of him as a strong contestant. I hope that he comes back on the show."
