Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav breaks all records of Instagram live, link crashes

Since picking up the trophy and becoming the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav went live with his fans for the first time. On Saturday evening, Elvish had started Instagram live to interact with his fans. Soon enough, so many fans gathered to watch him after so many days that the link itself crashed.

Elvish went live for the first time since becoming a winner and thus, the excitement was expected but not to the level of the link crashing. Through the live, Elvish broke all records. He even broke Bigg Boss 16 winner MC Stan and Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s record. This is because Elvish had as many as 595,000 viewers at one point of time during his live chat.

Within four hours, Elvish’s post had 6 million views and it keeps growing. He currently has 15 million followers on Instagram, out of which he gained 10 million followers after entering Bigg Boss OTT 2.

Elvish’s popularity grew fourfold since he became the winner of the show. He was competing with another renowned YouTuber, Abhishek Malhan. The two were neck-to-neck in the competition. However, reportedly, the last 15 minutes changed the game for Elvish, for he received most votes at the last moment. He received around 280 million votes in total.

Apart from creating history on Instagram live, Elvish also created history for Bigg Boss as a show. He became the first wild card contestant to lift the trophy on Salman Khan’s show.

Elvish had entered the show at a time when people were losing interest. He brought life back on the show with his fun antics with Abhishek Malhan and Manisha Rani’s group. Apart from that, Elvish also picked fights in the house. One such savage fight was with Avinash Sachdev. The fight, where Elvish calls Avinash bewakoof ka bacha, is still going viral. This is because Elvish was anyway known for his roasts and he brought the energy in the house, which people loved and openly accepted.
