Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav did not receive his prize money?

Elvish Yadav, a YouTube sensation and contender on 'Bigg Boss OTT 2,' won the competition despite being a wild card entry. He revealed that he hasn't gotten his monetary prize of Rs. 25 lakh in a recent interview.

Elvish defeated runner-up Abhishek Malhan in the Bigg Boss OTT 2 finale's live vote by a record-breaking audience. Elvish won a trophy and a prize of Rs. 25 lakh in cash, which he has not yet received.

Elvish Yadav was asked when is he planning to buy his third phone during a recent talk on the show 'Desi Vibes' with Shehnaaz Gill. At the time, Elvish was carrying two phones. Elvish responded by saying he already had three phones. When are you planning to purchase the fourth one, Shenaaz queried. 'When the Bigg Boss producers provide me Rs. 25 lakh, I'll buy the fourth one as well', Elvish said. Shehnaaz expressed her shock by saying, "Ye toh galat hai (This is wrong)" after learning that the YouTuber hadn't received his prize money yet.

Elvish about his conversation with the makers about wild card contestants

He further revealed that he had spoken to the show's producers at least 100 times to confirm the rules of wild card participants weather the winner will be chosen solely by the results of the voting. The producers assured him that a wild card contestant may win if they earned enough votes and that the winner would be determined by popular voting. 

Yadav first had his doubts about his chances of winning because he thought that the show's rules prohibited a wild card participant from taking home the prize.
