Bigg Boss OTT 2 Written Update July 28, 2023: Pooja Bhatt chooses Jiya Shankar for the heroine’s role, Manisha Rani retaliates about her choice

The day starts off with the musical wake-up call in the form of ‘Jhumka gira re’ from the upcoming Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. After this Elvish Yadav is seen having an extremely heart to heart conversation with Pooja Bhatt. This is followed by Elvish Yadav in an intense conversation with Abhishek Malhan wherein he says that, many in the house are out to defame him. Meanwhile, Pooja Bhatt goes and discusses Elvish Yadav with Avinash Sachdev.

Then, Bigg Boss announces a task which states Pooja Bhatt to be the director, and she has to cast the characters from the contestants. The set-up is then converted into a casting office. The first audition is that of the role of villain, for which she chooses ‘the unusual choice of villain’ Manisha, ‘an intelligent villain ‘Elvish and ‘the moist obvious choice’ for villain Bebika.

On her part, Manisha Rani refuses to accept villain’s role and that she should have been given the role of heroine or even hero’s friend. She, very categorically says that, the choice for the villain’s role should have been given to the usual choice Bebika. After hearing that, Pooja Bhatt says that, since she is not interested in the role of the villain, there is no point in wasting each other’s time in auditions.

Manisha Rani, then, paves the way for Elvish Yadav’s audition for the villain’s role. Pooja Bhatt describes his smile as devilish smile. She describes him as someone who is intelligent and does not have a black heart. Then comes Bebika for the audition of the villain. When asked the reason why everyone feels that she was the obvious choice to be the villain, she says that because she speaks the truth always, that’s why everyone terms her as a villain of the house.

Pooja Bhatt then, declares Bebika as the name of the contestant whom she has selected for the role of villain.

This is followed by the audition of ‘Hero ka dost’, for which, Pooja Bhatt calls for Aashika Bhatia and Jad Hadid for the auditions. Pooja Bhatt tells Jad that, even though he has all the qualities of a hero, still, he has always settled to be the hero ka dost. Pooja Bhatt terms his audition as heartfelt. Ultimately, Pooja Bhatt announces Jad Hadid as the winner of the audition for ‘hero ka dost’.

Post this, this is an audition for the person in passing shot, for whom giving dialogues makes no sense. For this, Pooja Bhatt calls for Manisha Rani and Aashika Bhatia. Here again, Manisha Rani backs out of the audition as she considers herself as a heroine material and nothing less. On the other hand, a few words of conversation happen between Pooja Bhatt and Aashika Bhatia. Pooja Bhatt, then, announces the winner of ‘passing shot’ as Manisha Rani.

And for the heroine’s audition, Pooja Bhatt calls for Jiya Shankar. And eventually, ‘without a doubt’, Pooja Bhatt declares Jiya Shankar as the winner for the heroine’s role. And for the role of a crowd person, Pooja Bhatt calls for Avinash and Aashika for the audition. Ultimately, Aashika Bhatia gets selected for the role of the crowd’s part.

At the end of it all, Bigg Boss announces that, Pooja’s choice for the roles does not match with that of the audience. Hearing this, Manisha Rani tells Pooja Bhatt that she made a wrong choice by choosing Jiya Shankar as the heroine as she should have at least considered her (Manisha Rani) for the audition for the role of the heroine.

Manisha Rani, in an attempt to get a kiss from Elvish Yadav, wakes him post-midnight and seeks a kiss from him. All of these actions awaken Jad Hadid, who shouts at her disturbing during the sleep. Post this, Abhishek Malhan tells Manisha Rani that, whatever she did was not right. And when she tries to defend herself and her action, he tells her that not every time she is right.
