Bigg Boss OTT contestant Urfi Javed accuses casting director of slut shaming, casting couch – details inside

Urfi Javed, who gained popularity for being a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT, has accused a casting director of slut shaming her and casting couch. She called out Punjabi casting director Obed Afridi for demanding sexual favours from women. The actress posted Instagram stories alleging the same.

Urfi called out Obed for not paying her for the work she did. In the chat shared by the actress, Obed accused Urfi of leaving shoot mid-way and thus, they had to pick another artist.

The ex-Bigg Boss OTT contestant called Obed’s statements a ‘lie’ and accused him of slut-shaming her. She also shared a screenshot of him doing the same.

Urfi later shared that she got responses from other girls who claimed that Obed did the same to them. One of them accused Obed of stating that she can get a role in her favourite singer’s music video but in exchange, she would have to sleep with the producer.

Actor Priyank Sharma, who worked with Urfi in Puncch Beat season 2, also spoke about an incident with his friend. He recalled how Obed asked Priyank’s friend to sleep for work and showed attitude. The actor said that even after taking action, Obed did not stop.

Urfi is currently a trend online. She has made DIY clothing like top from stockings and dresses from trash bags.

The actress was first a part of the TV show called Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania. This serial released in 2016. Ever since, she has been a part of Bepannaah, Meri Durga, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
