Bigg Boss OTT: Hina Khan to replace Karan Johar as host in the second season?

Bigg Boss is one of the highly anticipated reality shows every year. While Salman Khan is all set to host yet another season of the show, Karan Johar seems to be replaced in Bigg Boss OTT season 2. Reportedly, Hina Khan will take the filmmaker's place as the host for the upcoming instalment of the digital reality series.

Like the last year, Salman's Bigg Boss 16 will air on Colors TV channel soon after the end of Bigg Boss OTT 2. However, the contestants for both the shows. 

Hina Khan, who is one of the most famous faces of the television industry, rose to fame with her stint in the popular daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She debuted in films in the year 2020 with the psychological thriller film, Hacked. Meanwhile, the diva also represented India during Cannes Film Festival 2022 among other actresses. 

The Kasautii Zindagii Kay actress appeared in Bigg Boss during season 11 as a contestant, while she became an important part of the reality series during Bigg Boss 14 as well. 

A few weeks ago, it was reported that the ace filmmaker stepped down as the host for Bigg Boss OTT season 2 due to his own highly anticipated reality venture, Koffee With Karan season 7. However, KJo won't be occupied due to his celebrity talk show but also be busy directing Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.

Apparently, Farah Khan's name was coming as the front runner for KJo's position, while now, according to a report on TellyChakkar, Hina is also being considered as Karan's replacement.

As per the reports, some of the famous social media faces including the Lock Upp winner Munawar Faruqui, Zaid Darbar, Awez Darbar, Kevin Almasifar and Baseer Ali might debut in the Bigg Boss OTT 2.
