Bigg Boss OTT: Ridhima Pandit breaks down while remembering her mother

Two of the contestants Ridhima Pandit and Divya Agarwal in Bigg Boss OTT lost one of their parents amid the COVID-19 pandemic. In the live feed, Ridhima along with Shamita Shetty and Neha Bhasin was seen discussing her mom's death. Pandit shared the suffering of her mother and she breaks down while talking about it. Shamita and Neha also on the other hand talk about losing their father.

Divya also joins the conversation but she walks out in no time on hearing that they are talking about getting bereaved. Shamita realises that Agarwal also lost her father last year due to COVID-19 complications. She runs towards the bathroom area to pacify Divya.

Ridhima went on to reveal that she had considered coming on Bigg Boss in 2020 too as there was not much to do. But she thanks her stars for not doing so as Bigg Boss 14 ended in February 2021 and she lost her mother in April this year.

During an interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Ridhima spoke about her mom stating, "Bigg Boss was my mother’s favourite show and this year I thought I was destined for it."

She added that her mother used to say that she will not be able to do Bigg Boss and she would only watch it. Ridhima's mother used to think she was delicate and cry easily.

In the live feed, Pandit even mentioned that she was scared to bring her mother's photos due to a task where contestants are asked to sacrifice the photos they got of their special ones.
