On the Sunday episode, Kamal Haasan assigns a TRP task to the contestants where each of them has to play a host, ask a question to a fellow contestant and get the answer they expect them to hear. Kamal Haasan plays the judge for the contestants and assigns TRP to each one of them.
He then reprimands the housemates for not adhering to the rules of the house. He heavily comes down on Sherina and Aysha for constantly talking in Malayalam and removing their mics while doing so. "Respect the stage and the audience," reproaches Kamal Haasan. "The Bigg Boss show is aired in different languages and remember that this is in Tamil! I think I should ask for double the salary for listening to your conversations in Malayalam as well. If you are going to constantly talk in another language, then it's not right and it's completely unacceptable."
He adds that he is someone who respects all languages. "I am someone who endorses different languages. I have acted in Malayalam films and I, too, speak the language. You have given a commitment to the show. So, stick to that. I will not be using 'please' and request you talk in Tamil hereafter. When I fell sick and came down with Covid, I came on video conferencing to talk to you because I had given a commitment to the show. Talking in another language is completely unacceptable. I am not going to request you both any further."
He also states, "I am a fan of Dileep Kumar sir and RD Burman sir. But I am opposed to Hindi imposition. Because speaking in a language and imposing the same on someone are two different things.
He also reprimands Shivin and Dhanalakshmi for coming to the tasks after a long delay and not performing things well. "None of you seem to understand the importance of this platform." He adds if contestants don't follow the rules, he himself will be forced to give them a red card.
