After eight successful seasons of Tamil reality show Bigg Boss, the ninth season, Bigg Boss Tamil 9, has officially launched! The ninth season of Bigg Boss Tamil was launched at a grand event on Sunday. You can watch the episode and forthcoming episodes on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium. Vijay Sethupathi who is hosting the show, comes back to introduce the audience through the unique features of the new house, along with welcoming the contestants.

The show began with Vijay Sethupathi welcoming the audience, with an animated introduction of the house interiors. This season the house sports a new look, or in Vijay Sethupathi’s words like a ‘Egyptian palace’. Sporting colourful walls, the previous kitchen area is now living room where the housemates are addressed during the weekend episodes. The kitchen is right in between the house, making it a visible area from any spot within the house.

The bedroom with orange walls is decorated with face murals and has only 12 beds in total. Meanwhile, there is a separate bedroom which is reserved for the captain of the house. There is another shiny room with remaining beds, adorned with velvety duvets and even sports a jacuzzi. With an evident contrast in luxury between both sets of bedroom, the confession room where the real deal lies, is designed with Egyptian structures and a winged thorn where the contestants sit.
