Bigg Boss Tamil 9 is all set to be launched on October 5, Sunday. The show will begin at 6 pm and will introduce the new season’s theme, house, and most importantly, the contestants. Expected to run for a couple of hours, the first episode of Bigg Boss 9 will have the host introduce the season to audience.

A minimum of 18 housemates is expected to enter Bigg Boss Tamil 9. Farina Azad, Janani Ashokkumar, Sidhu, Aadhirai Soundarrajan, Roshan, Neha Rajesh Menon, Ahmed Meeran, Amrutha Srinivasan, Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan, Aurora Sinclair, Cynthia Vinoli, Diwakar, Vinoth Babu, Puvi Arasu, VJ Parvathy, and Malini Jeevarathnam, are rumoured housemates.

The host of Bigg Boss Tamil 9 is well-known actor Vijay Sethupathi. He began hosting the show since last season after actor-turned-politician stepped down citing his other commitments. Vijay Sethupathi, who is known for his straightforward yet curt style of anchoring, will be introducing the new season’s house and housemates. Subsequently, he will be appearing during the weekend episodes.
