Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5: Kamal Haasan reveals why he refrained from entering the world of modelling

The grand premiere of Bigg Boss Tamil Season five is currently grabbing a lot of eyeballs for. After a much excruciating delay, the controversial reality show hosted by Kamal Haasan finally started airing on Vijay TV. Meanwhile, let's have a look at what the Ulaga Nayagan had to say about the world of modelling.

Runway and pageantry models Sruthi Jayadevan and Akshara Reddy were welcomed during the grand premiere, hosted by Kamal Haasan. The contestants introduced themselves and their association with modelling when questioned by the veteran actor. Following this, Kamal gave the viewers a brief insight into the world of modelling. He talked about how the ramp-walk done by models are very impactful. The perils of certain models who fall while attempting ‘the walk’ was also addressed by him. This prompted the models (currently contestants on the show) to giggle. He spoke of the nervousness that is caused while on the fashion show, in terms of the right dress, the right look and carrying oneself.

The actor also lauded all the models including Sruthi and Akshara for bravely attempting a challenging career. Post that, he also shared the small detail about refraining from the world of modelling on account of the previously mentioned challenges and pressures.

Contestant Sruthi Jayadevan is a social media influencer, fashion blogger and runway model who is popular for her fashion statements. She is the one who usually tries to break all stereotypes by putting up posts of unique fashion.

Akshara Reddy, on the other hand started getting popular when she entered the pageantry world of modelling. She also won the title of Miss Super Globe in 2019. Known to work with the leading fashion designers, she also headlined several fashion shows as the showstopper.
