Bigg Boss Tamil season 5 winner Raju Jeyamohan clarifies he is not part of Karthi's Sardar

The buzz in the industry is that Raju Jeyamohan, who was earlier part of Natpunna Ennanu Theriyuma, starring Kavin in the lead, is part of Karthi's upcoming film, Sardar, too. However, the winner of the popular reality show, Bigg Boss Tamil season 5, Raju Jeyamohan, has today come out with a statement that he is not part of the spy thriller though he wished that he was. 

"I wish I was a part in #sardar. This isn’t true. I am not in the movie aana Idhellam kekkavum paakavum nalla irukku 😜 @Psmithran @RedGiantMovies_ wishing #sardar a massive opening 🔥: (sic)," he wrote on his social media handle, sharing a screenshot of a post made by a fan. Interestingly, Raju was last seen in Sivakarthikeyan's recent hit, Don. The actor played a college student in the student who was part of Sivakarthikeyan's rival gang.

Sardar is directed by PS Mithran, and Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan play the leading ladies in it. The film marks the debut of Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey in Tamil. He plays a rich and suave businessman and his portions were shot in Azerbaijan and Georgia. The director had even shared pictures from the location and written, "Amazing Azerbaijan and Baku an architectural delight. Had a blast with the Film Crew of #Sardar, my first Tamil Film (sic).”

Music for the film is by GV Prakash Kumar. While Yuvan was initially roped in to score the music, he had to opt out due to date issues. Editing is being handled by Ruben and cinematography is by George C Williams. Kadhir is in charge of art direction. Karthi is said to be playing a dual role in the film, which also stars Munish Kanth, Chunky Pandey, Prince and Murli Sharma. The streaming rights for the film has been bagged by Aha Tamil.
