Bigg Boss Tamil season 7 is off to a great start. The new contestants didn't require any honeymoon period to warm up to the new reality of their lives. They hit the ground running with their outspokenness, some of their actions were also verging on the borders of violence.
One of the highly debated topics on the last week's show was the importance of education. Kamal had addressed the topic during Saturday's episode. But he broached the topic again on Sunday and emphasised an important fact about education.

"There were two types of arguments in the house about education. Annadurai, Kamarajar, MGR and others were cited as an example to show that education was not needed to be successful. But, the hidden truth in all the lives of these great people is, when they became leaders, the first thing they did was to take measures to ensure everyone has access to education," said Kamal.
What's the controversy?
In the very first week, the housemates created a lot of controversies inside the house, causing countless debates on the internet. One of the debates that drew everyone's attention was the clash between Jovika and Vichitra.
While Vichitra talked about the importance of education for everyone, Jovika took offence to her remarks. Jovika assumed that Vichitra made those comments in connection to her life. And instantly, a clash erupted between the two and ended with Jovika getting emotional and lashing out at Vichitra.
The clash also sparked a huge debate on social media. Some expressed solidarity with Jovika who sort of argued that one doesn't need education to succeed in life. And some saw the point in Vichitra's stance on education being the catalyst for positive change in society.
"But is it the end for those who cannot complete their education because they are unable to cope with the education system pressures. Fyi she is not from a rich family, I have struggled to make ends meet on a day to day basis facing family situations etc. Each child is unique in his or her own way and as a parent I am doing my best . I have two daughters and both excel in their own ways and paths . Its my discretion and not open for discussion," tweeted Vanitha Vijaykumar, Jovika's mother and former Bigg Boss contestant.
