Bigg Boss Telugu contestant Maanas roped in to headline 5G Love

Maanas Nagulapalli, who donned the grease paint first as a child artiste and established himself as a formidable lead actor, shot to fame in the recent past when he entered the reality show Bigg Boss Telugu. The actor is all set to headline a new film titled 5G Love, to be directed by Raj Mudunuru. Pratap Kolagatla is bankrolling the film under Square India Studios. 5G Love is currently in its pre-production phase and will have music by Shekhar Chandra.

Square India Studios had previously also produced a film titled 3G Love in the past. There will be two male leads in 5G Love and the film will cater to the tastes of audiences across all age groups, the makers share. Maanas will join the film's team once he's out of the Bigg Boss Telugu House, in which he's had a good run to date. The female leads and crew will be officially announced shortly.

The actor's last release was Ksheera Sagara Madhanam, a film directed by Anil Paguluri, where he had shared screen space alongside Akshata Sonawane, Sanjay Rao and Charishma Srikar. Ksheera Sagara Madhanam is a story revolving around six software engineers and a driver who all work for the same company and land in trouble owing to an issue. The film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. 

Maanas' other releases in the past include Green Signal, Kaai Raja Kaai, Gang Of Gabbar Singh, Premikudu, Jhalak and Soda Goli Soda. Bigg Boss Telugu 5 can be watched on Disney+ Hotstar.
