Salman Khan is returning with the much-awaited 19th season of Bigg Boss. The much-loved show will premiere on August 30 and will be hosted by Salman for the first 15 weeks. Bigg Boss 19 will premiere on JioHotstar, and you can also watch it with your OTTplay Premium subscription. Ahead of the grand premiere of the new season, check out the prize money from seasons 1 to 18.
Model and actor Rahul Roy lifted the trophy of the first season of Bigg Boss in 2006-2007. Rahul won a cash prize of Rs 1 crore. Notably, this season was hosted by Arshad Warsi and became a social media sensation overnight.
Ashutosh Kaushik, popularly known for Roadies, was the winner of the second season of Bigg Boss in 2008. The show was hosted by Shilpa Shetty, and Ashutosh won Rs. 1 crore as a cash prize.
Vindu Dara Singh won Bigg Boss Season 3, which premiered in 2009, where Amitabh Bachchan was the host and Parvesh Rana was the runner-up. Vindu also won Rs 1 crore.
Shweta Tiwari, famous for playing the role of Prerna in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, lifted the trophy for the fourth season in 2010. She bagged Rs. 1 crore. Notably, Salman Khan was the host for the first time in this season.
In this season, Salman Khan invited Sanjay Dutt to host the show in 2012. Juhi Parmar, famous for her role in Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, took home the trophy and Rs 1 crore.

Urvashi won the sixth season of Bigg Boss by defeating Imam Siddiqui. She received a lot of love for her tricks during the show. She received Rs. 50 lakh as a prize money.
In 2013, Gauahar won Rs 50 lakh by beating Tanishaa Mukherjee. She won the show with her bold personality and emotional authenticity. Her game strategy and tricks captured the audience's hearts.
Gautam Gulati caught everyone's attention with his charming and entertaining demeanor in Bigg Boss Season 8 (2014-15). His unique style of playing made him a fan favorite, which led to his victory. Gautam earned ₹50 lakh as prize money.
Model, actor, and singer Prince Narula was the winner of the ninth season in 2016 following the champions of MTV Roadies 12 and MTV Splitsvilla 8 in 2015. He bagged Rs 50 lakh as prize money for winning BB title.
Manveer Gurjar won the trophy in Bigg Boss Season 10 (2016). He won Rs. 40 lakh as his prize, which became a symbol of how ordinary people can achieve extraordinary success.
Shilpa Shinde was the winner of Bigg Boss Season 11 (2017). She defeated Hina Khan and captivated the audience with her nurturing nature and resilience. Shilpa won Rs. 44 lakh as prize money.
Dipika Kakar won Bigg Boss Season 12 (2018) with her calm demeanor and ability to handle conflict gracefully. She earned Rs. 30 lakh as her prize.
The Balika Vadhu fame and late actor Sidharth Shukla won Bigg Boss 13 (2019-2020). He beat Asim Riaz and took home Rs. 50 lakh. However, unfortunately, the actor died on September 2, 2021, after suffering a heart attack at the age of 40.
Rubina Dilaik won Bigg Boss Season 14 (2020-21) by displaying strength, intelligence, and resilience in difficult situations. She received Rs. 36 lakh as her prize after emerging as the winner.
Tejasswi Prakash won in Bigg Boss Season 15 (2021-22) and earned Rs. 40 lakh as her reward. Tejasswi is famous for her Naagin 6 role.
MC Stan won Rs 31.8 lakh by defeating Shiv Thakre in 2023. Since winning the show, MC Stan has toured India and continues to produce his independent music.
Munawar Faruqui, who is currently hosting The Society, a survival show on JioHotstar (OTTplay Premium), won the 18th season of Bigg Boss and received a Hyundai Creta car and a cash prize of Rs. 50 lakh.
Bigg Boss 18 (2024-2025) title was won by Karan Veer Mehra. He won a prize of Rs 50 lakh, a memorable end to an exciting season filled with drama and entertainment.

According to a report in the Indian Express, Salman Khan will return as the host for the first 15 weeks. JioHotstar has shared an official announcement fo Bigg Boss 19 on July 25 and asked fans to stay tuned as the release date will be out soon.
Several famous names, including Gautami Kapoor, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Alisha Panwar, Khushi Dubey, Gaurav Taneja (Flying Beast), Mr. Faisu, Apoorva Mukhija, Purav Jha, Gaurav Khanna, Dhanashree Verma, Sriram Chandra, Arshifa Khan, and makeup artist Mickey Makeover, are rumored to join Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 19.
