Bigg bucks for Bigg Boss 9 Telugu: Nagarjuna bags ₹30 crore deal to host the show?

Bigg Boss 9 Telugu is just days away from its pre-show, Agnipariksha, which will start on August 22, 2025. You can stream the show on Jio Hotstar via OTTplay Premium. The makers are gearing up for the event, and none other than anchor Sreemukhi will host this segment. 

Nagarjuna's remuneration touches the sky

40 commoners will compete for the top three spots. Once the winners are announced, these three contestants will join the main show alongside the other celebrities. Akkineni Nagarjuna is returning as the host for the sixth time this season, and he is being paid a huge amount. 

We at OTT Play have exclusively learned that Nagarjuna is receiving ₹30 crore to host the reality show. In the previous season, he was paid ₹20 crore, which means he’s getting ₹10 crore more this year.

Initially, there were reports that Nandamuri Balakrishna might host the season, as Nagarjuna was demanding a hefty fee. However, negotiations concluded successfully, and the makers finalized Nagarjuna for ₹30 crore. Though an official confirmation is yet to be made, this news has gone viral in film circles.

Popular celebs to grace Bigg Boss 9 Telugu

Bigg Boss 9 Telugu remains one of the most-watched shows and can be streamed on JioCinema via OTT Play Premium. Several big names from Telugu cinema will be participating this year.
