Bindu Madhavi, who essayed crucial roles in popular Telugu films like Avakai Biryani, Pilla Zamindar, hasn’t let uncertainties of the industry ruffle her feathers over the years. After winning the first edition of Bigg Boss Telugu OTT, it wasn’t surprising that she dedicated the victory to all late bloomers, signifying how persistence will always pay off. Her next release is Disney+ Hotstar’s Anger Tales.

While talking about Anger Tales at its pre-release event, she said, “I remember wishing if Suma (garu) could host our pre-release event during the promotional interviews and the wish came true today. It reminds me of a Mahesh Babu dialogue in Sitamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu where he says.. ‘ento ee madhya anukunnavanni jarigipotunnayi (all my wishes are coming true these days).”

“I have another wish as well - I hope people like Anger Tales. It’s a beautiful anthology and I must thank Nithin (director Prabhala Tilak) for offering me a such a good role. He had offered me the part before I won Bigg Boss. More than producers, Sridhar and Suhas are my good friends and it feels wonderful to be associate with them for a project,” she added.

“Venkatesh Maha, in an interview, told why it’s necessary to express anger at the right time. Kamal Haasan too once said it’s wrong if anger isn’t conveyed. He mentioned it is a bigger crime if anger is not utilised/emoted in a required situation. Anger Tales is a story of four ordinary people, who resist expressing their anger for a long time, However, what are the repercussions if they let it out?” the actress shared.

Ravindra Vijay plays her on-screen husband in the show, directed by Prabhala Tilak, that also stars Tharun Bhascker, Madonna Sebastian, Suhas, Venkatesh Maha, Phani Acharya. After Anger Tales, she’ll be seen in aha’s political drama Newsense alongside Navdeep.
