Dwayne Johnson brought Black Adam's power to Comic-Con. In full Black Adam garb, the star rose from the stage floor to enter Hall H of the San Diego Comic-Con. As he came out, smoke billowed out on the floor and lightning strikes were shown on the screen behind him. Before the panel, attendees received lightning bolt lanyards, which were brilliantly lit up in the dimly lit room for a spectacular spectacle.

As part of the Warner Bros. event, the movie actor also debuted the most recent trailer for his forthcoming superhero adventure.

While Black Adam may not be as well known to comic book newcomers, his main adversary should be thanks to the 2019 smash hit movie Shazam! starring Zachary Levi. Shazam, the wizard, bestows magical abilities on Black Adam, making him akin to the Shazam figure. Black Adam, however, obtains his powers from the Egyptian gods as opposed to Shazam, who traditionally calls upon the Greek gods.

Nearly 5,000 years after receiving the abilities of the Egyptian gods, the antihero will be followed in the new film. Black Adam is prepared to wreak his brand of justice on the contemporary world after emerging from his grave.

The Justice Society of America is being introduced to the DC Universe with Black Adam, which features Johnson's titular character as well as several brand-new characters. The Justice Society is a superhero group that first appeared in DC comics before the Justice League. It features Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate.

Johnson was joined on stage by the cast members and the director, Jaume Collet-Serra, who all made hints about how Black Adam would forever alter the DC Universe. The panellists were also open to questions from audience members, including one on who would prevail in a fight between Black Adam and Superman. Johnson responded by saying it depends on who's playing Superman. Another little admirer questioned the actor about whether Kevin Hart felt jealous of him for playing a superhero. Johnson said that Hart did.

The movie Black Adam debuts on October 21. In 2022, Warner Bros. has several DC franchises planned.
