Black Phone 2 is out on OTT on JioHotstar, which can be accessed with your OTTplay Premium subscription. The film has started streaming on the said platform(s) from Saturday, January 28, 2026.
Black Phone is popular for the terrifying lead character, The Grabber. He, obviously, is a killer, but the terrifying part is that he has grown even more powerful in death. This makes for the second installment aka Black Phone 2.

Black Phone fans found an eerie connection between the movie, especially with Ethan Hawke’s The Grabber face and Jeffrey Epstein’s laugh. Thus, the movie made headlines in the midst of The Epstein Files taking the world by storm.

Black Phone 2 follows what happens after 15-year-old Gwen (Madeliene McGraw) receives calls from the black phone where she finds videos of three boys being chased in the midst of what was supposed to be their fun winter camping experience. Thus, she heads over to solve the mystery with her brother Finn (Mason Thames).
Directed by Scott Derrickson, Black Phone 2 had released in theatres on October 17, 2025 in US. The original film was 2021 release. While Black Phone majorly received positive reviews, Black Phone 2 was welcomed with a mixed opinion.
