The prison drama Black Warrant had a successful release on January 10, 2025, and now Netflix has officially renewed it for a second season. Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailer is a 2019 memoir co-written by Sunil Gupta and Sunetra Choudhury. The series is a dramatised version of Gupta's experience working as a jailer in Delhi's Tihar Jail in the 1980s.
