Ranbir Kapoor promotes Animal at Wankhede Stadium during Semi-final match
Ranbir was present at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai during the semi-final match between India and New Zealand. Moreover, the actor even promoted his upcoming film, Animal on field. He spoke at length about what his film was about, stating, "Well, the film is called Animal, and it's releasing on the 1st of December. It's a family crime drama, and it's about how this character goes to any lengths to protect his family. It's kind of similar to how the country would go to any lengths to protect our team and win the Cup."
Sandeep Reddy Vanga directs Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, with Triptii Dimri playing an undisclosed role. Animal is scheduled to be released on December 1, 2023.
Talking about Alia, the actor is currently shooting for Jigra, which she is headlining. Vasan Bala is directing the film, while Alia is co-producing it with Karan Johar's home banner, Dharma Productions. The film is scheduled to release in 2024.
Meanwhile, several celebrities are at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to watch the World Cup final match live, including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Ayushmann Khurrana, among others.
