Blind, directed by Shome Makhija and starring Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, is an upcoming film that tells a gripping crime-thriller tale. With actors like Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, Lilette Dubey, and Shubham Saraf, the movie is highly anticipated and set to release soon.

Release date

The upcoming movie is a Hindi adaptation remake of the acclaimed Korean movie of the same name, originally released in 2011. Blind is all set to release on Jio Cinema on July 7.

Sonam Kapoor is the protagonist, who plays the role of a blind woman named Gia, while Purab Kohli is the ruthless psycho killer in the film. Blind also has Vinay Pathak, Lilette Dubey, and Shubham Saraf as pivotal characters with Lucy Aarden and Javed Khan in supporting roles.

The latest teaser begins with an intense sequence that showcases Sonam as a blind woman who somehow rescues herself from a serial killer disguised as a cab driver played by Purab. Post that, she vows to find the ruthless cab driver again and bring justice to society.

Filming for Blind took place from December 28, 2020, to February 13, 2021, in Glasgow, Scotland. Bankrolled by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh, Hyunwoo Thomas, Kim Sachin, Nahar Pinkesh and Nahar Manish W under the banners named Kross Pictures and Rainbow Studios.

Box office prediction
