Premium'Blink' release date - Dheekshith Shetty's intriguing sci-fi thriller set for March 2024 release

The intriguing first teaser of 'Blink' dropped more than a year ago and Kannada cineastes have since then been keenly looking forward to the theatrical release of the film. One expected it to hit the big screen sometime in 2023 but the film's leading man Dheekshith Shetty divulged recently that audiences will have to wait till early 2024 for the release to occur.
And on the actor's birthday on 22 December, the makers of 'Blink' confirmed the same with a new poster and announced that the film will arrive in cinema halls on 8th March 2024. The team also released a new promo of the film that offers another glimpse of the central character portrayed by Dheekshith Shetty.
Billed as a sci-fi thriller, the film stars Dheekshith Shetty, Vajradheer Jain, Chaithra J Achar, Mandara Battalahalli, Gopal Krishna Deshpande and others with Srinidhi Bengaluru writing and directing it. Although the synopsis or the storyline of the film isn't explicitly known, one gathers that the film is about how certain unforeseen incidents transform the life of the protagonist.
More importantly, the charm of 'Blink' lies in the manner in which the story is told with the visuals promising an inventive, unconventional thriller. Dheekshith Shetty, director Srinidhi Bengaluru and the rest of the core team have exuded confidence about offering something new to audiences with their film.
Avinasha Shastry is the film's cinematographer and Prasanna Kumar has scored the music. 'Blink' is produced by Ravichandra AJ.
On the other hand, Dheekshith Shetty recently joined the cast of the Telugu film 'The Girlfriend', which stars Rashmika Mandanna. Dheekshith plays 'The Boyfriend' in Rahul Ravindran's film and the makers unveiled a small sample of his character; quite evidently, he is set to surprise us once again. He also has 'KTM' up for release.
