One of the much-awaited series, Bloody Brothers is nearing its release. The series marks Jaideep Ahlawat and Zeeshan Ayyub collaboration for the second time after over a decade. The two play brothers in the dark comedy thriller.

Bloody Brothers is about the two brothers who land in soup after running over an old man accidentally. During a conversation with Hindustan Times, the actors talked about their show and the times when they landed in soup in real life.

While Zeeshan Ayyub said unlike the characters in the show, he hasn't ended up in a serious situation like that. He tried playing it safe, saying, "I think neither of us takes ourself seriously. That is why we don't remember many such things." But Jaideep Ahlawat recalled an incident where he said he had feared for his life.

Ahlawat was shooting for the film Vishwaroopam with Kamal Haasan in Manhattan, New York during the Christmas of 2013. They were shooting with three big SUVs on a bridge and he was in one of them with Haasan. "We couldn't finish the scene in one go so had to go around and return. Now, we had to cross a toll booth every time we wanted to return to the bridge. The third time we reached the toll, eight or ten cop cars surrounded us. Situation aisi ki bhai goli mat maar dena. We sat with our hands up and explained we were shooting," he narrated the incident, saying they somehow managed to get out of it with a warning. Now, it has become a 'hilarious memory' for him.

However, in such a traumatic incident, Ahlawat was thinking about his career and how he would become an overnight sensation had he gotten arrested with Haasan in the US. "Your mind is a weird thing. I was thinking if we get arrested, I would be a hit. Jaideep Ahlawat would be the man who got arrested with Kamal Haasan in the US," he said.

Bloody Brothers is adapted from the series Guilt and is directed by Shaad Ali. The show will be available to stream on ZEE5 from March 18.
