Bloody Brothers is counting down the days to its release. Shruti Seth, who stars in the dark comedy thriller, alongside Jaideep Alhawat and Zeeshan Ayyub, recently opened up about a scene where she is seen kissing her co-star, Mugdha Godse.

In a conversation with Times of India, the actress revealed that, funnily enough, neither she nor Godse had done a scene like that before. But being actors, they had to give more importance to their performances on screen despite any level of discomfort they might be feeling. But in the end, the duo managed to make the scene feel as natural as they could. Seth also credited her director, Shaad Ali, for making sure that both the actresses were at ease when they were doing the scene.

Bloody Brothers revolves around the story of two siblings, Jaggi (Alhawat) and Daljeet (Ayyub), who accidentally run over and kill an old man one night with their car. As the two scramble to cover their tracks, their massive guilt about the incident starts to gnaw at them and create a rift between them. The upcoming series, which consists of six episodes, is an adaptation of the 2019 British series, titled guilt. The original English version starred Mark Bonnar, Jamie Sives, Ruth Bradley, Sian Brooke, Ellie Haddington, Sara Vickers, Emun Elliott and Bill Paterson.

Bloody Brothers also features Tina Desai, Maya Alagh, Satish Kaushik and Jitendra Joshi in pivotal roles. The show is produced by Applause Entertainment, in association with BBC Studios India.

Bloody Brothers will be available to stream on ZEE5 from March 18, 2022.
