Bodhon 2 trailer: Sandipta Sen gears up to play Raka with a lot of action

The second season of Bodhon is ready with Sandipta Sen as Raka Sen in the lead. The season will return with lots of action. In the first season of Bodhon, she stood by the raped student till the end. She could give her justice at last. This time, Ditipriya Roy will give it a miss and the series will present a different story that features Indrasish Roy. Koushik Roy will be there as Raka’s partner.

According to the makers, Raka Sen will fight for Ipilpur’s tortured women. Child marriage still goes on there, as does women trafficking. Raka will fight against them with the help of her husband Wriju. 

The trailer of Bodhon 2, directed by Aditi Roy, was released on Monday. The director claimed that Raka's popularity brought her back. Raka and Wriju go to Ipilpur to spend their honeymoon. But bad things happen there. The local MLA Satya Prakash Choudhury (Loknath Dey) and his son Sukhen lead the antisocial works there, and Raka becomes the obstacle. She faces attacks and has to take action to defend herself. 

One scene shows her fighting with a broken piece of glass. Sandipta Sen is elated to have acted in such a series. She said that Raka Sen would be more dangerous now. Previously, she stood beside only Sinjini. Now, many women of different ages are to be protected by her. Koushik Roy and Indrasish Roy reprise their roles from the first series. Loknath dey, sampurna Mondal, and Soumi Chatterjee will also act. The story is by Sarbari Ghosal.
