Bomb release date:
Bomb is set to release in theatres on September 12. The film will release along with other Tamil films like Atharvaa’s Thanal and GV Prakash-starrer Blackmail.

The cast of Bomb is headlined by Arjun Das and Kaali Venkat. Others include actors Shivathmika Rajashekar, Kaali Venkat, Nassar, Abhirami, Singampuli, Balasaravanan and others.

Bomb crew:
Bomb is directed by Vishal Venkat, who earlier made his debut with Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal (on Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium). Vishal Venkat has written Bomb along with Manikandan Mathavan and Abishek Sabarigirison. The technical crew includes D Imman scoring the music and Rajkumar PM cranking the camera. Prasanna GK is the editor, and the dialogues have been penned by Makizhnan BM, Manikandan and Abishek.
Bomb plot:
Bomb is a rural satire drama, which is set in a village called Kaalakammaipaati. A place that is a constant site of clashes between two faith-driven sects. However, when an atheist Kathiravan dies on a sacred night, his body keeps farting. While the villagers see it as some form of divinity, each side begins to claim him as their God. But what happens only when his friend Mani Muthu realises that he is alive and that he is battling blind faith.
Bomb trailer:
The trailer of Bomb was released by the makers a few days back. The trailer shows Kaali Venkat playing a dead man as his body is surrounded by villagers. But just as the situation is grim and gloomy, a fart from his body makes his friend Mani Muthu realise that he is not dead yet. There are women weeping as Arjun Das tries to convince the villagers that nothing has happened to the man. The villagers think that he has been possessed by a deity. Soon, we also see Arjun Das doing something in secret, and the man who is presumed to be god, goes missing.
