The success of Most Eligible Bachelor is a fantastic example to prove why form is temporary and class is permanent, especially in the case of the filmmaker Bommarillu Baskar. The director who hasn't scored a hit after his Telugu film Parugu is heaving a sigh of relief with the fantastic theatrical run of his latest rom-com that stars Akhil Akkineni, Pooja Hegde, Jaya Prakash and Murali Sharma in lead roles. Commemorating the film's commercial success, a 'Thank You' meet was held at Gokul Park, Beach Road in Visakhapatnam in the previous weekend.

"I always felt that Most Eligible Bachelor was 'our' (team's) film and my thought only till October 14th. The film was all 'yours' after its release (on October 15). I am so glad that people are owning its success today. I must thank Allu Aravind for this opportunity, who (through Geetha Arts) makes the job so easy for directors. Bunny Vaas and Vasu Varma, the producers, were my pillars of support through its making. I'm so happy that audiences have accepted Akhil Akkineni wholeheartedly in a brand new avatar," Baskar said.

He further added, "My producer on a lighter note was telling me that people are starting their relationships on a new slate after Most Eligible Bachelor. I was thrilled to hear that. I really hope the film inspires individuals to be a better version of themselves. Family audiences have always encouraged my films to date and I hope more crowds watch our effort in the coming days." Allu Aravind, Akhil Akkineni, Bunny Vaas, Getup Srinu were among the few who attended the event.

Most Eligible Bachelor hit the theatres on October 15 and was in the making for nearly two years. Real-life couple Rahul Ravindran and Chinmayi Sripada were seen in brief cameos in the film as well. Gopi Sundar is the composer of the film for which Pradeesh Varma is the cinematographer. Maha Samudram and Pelli SandaD were the other Telugu films that released during the same weekend.
