Bond Ravi on OTT: Directed by Prajwal SP, Bond Ravi was marketed as Pramod’s most massy film to date, but while his performance was lauded, the film failed to make a mark

When Bond Ravi was ready for release, leading man Pramod Panju had said that the action drama, which also had a love story at its crux, was his most massy film, given the characterization, stunts, etc. The directorial debut of Prajwal SP, Bond Ravi paired Pramod with Kajal Kunder and released in theatres in December 2022. While the lead pair’s performance was said to be commendable, critics called out Prajwal’s weak script.
More than two years after the film came to theatres, and without a streaming partner, the production house, Life Line Films banner, has made it available to stream for free. On March 7, Bond Ravi dropped on the banner’s official YouTube page, with Kannada audio and English subtitles, as its world digital premiere.

In the film, Pramod played Ravi, a seasoned jailbird with a tough exterior, who finds himself locked up once again after agreeing to stand in for a powerful political figure in a murder case. Though he's never committed a crime himself, Ravi is no stranger to prison, having been behind bars countless times.
Ravi’s reputation in the criminal world is infamous, earning him the nickname Bond Ravi. This time, however, things take an unexpected twist when he falls for Shwetha, a call center employee, over the phone. For the first time in his life, Ravi has someone to care for. But with his dark past always lurking, can he shed his Bond" persona and start fresh with Shwetha? Or will the sins of his past inevitably catch up with him? This is what the story of Bond Ravi is all about.
Meanwhile, Pramod, who was last seen in Bhuvanam Gaganam, which released in February this year, is set to reprise his role as Baachi Mannar in Salaar: Shourangya Parva. The actor recently revealed that he’d been offered a role in Pushpa 2 The Rule as well, but declined it , as he was not keen to do a role in which all he would do is get beaten up by the hero, when he is doing protagonist roles back home in Kannada.
