The makers of Border 2 unveiled the teaser of Ghar Kab Aaoge that brings together iconic singers Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Vishal Mishra, and Diljit Dosanjh. While the evergreen masterpiece was originally created by Anu Malik, it is now recreated by Mithoon with additional lyrics by Manoj Muntashir Shukla. Meanwhile, the original lyricist of Ke Ghar Kab Aaoge (1997) was Javed Akhtar. This collaboration results in a rich, layered composition that conveys both broad and deeply human feelings, moving emotions forward and creating a deep connection with the audience.

Notably, the full song will be launched on January 2, 2026, at a grand launch event at Longewala-Tanot, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

About Border 2

Border 2 is a 2026 spiritual sequel to the 1997 film, set during the 1971 Indo-Pak War, focusing on young soldiers and expanding to include the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. 

Varun Dhawan is set to be seen in the role of Colonel Hoshiar Singh Dahiya. He was a celebrated Indian Army officer who was awarded the Param Vir Chakra (PVC), India's highest gallantry award, for his extraordinary bravery and leadership during the 1971 Indo-Pak War, especially in the fierce Battle of Jarpal.

While Sunny Deol will reprise his role, Diljit Dosanjh will play Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon. The Indian Air Force officer was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his defence of the Srinagar Air Base against air strikes by the Pakistan Air Force during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. On the other hand, Ahan Shetty will play the role of an Indian Navy officer.
