Parambrata Chatterjee’s directorial project Boudi Canteen is all set to hit the theatres in Puja. On Saturday, the team dropped the teaser of the film that features Subhashree Ganguly, Soham Chakraborty, Anashua Majumdar and Parambrata. The film is being shot in Kolkata by cinematographer Tiyash Sen, and the soundtrack is being composed by Joy Sarkar. Aritra Sen and Somasree Ghosh have written the story, while Samragnee Bandopadhyay penned the dialogues.

The teaser reveals the life of a middle-class woman, Poulami, played by Subhashree Ganguly. While she is a teacher by profession, cooking is her passion. Parambrata plays her husband while Anashua plays her mother-in-law. The teaser shows her popularity, especially in the cooking department. However, the teaser also hints at a crisis that involves her dreams.

Parambrata has shared the teaser on his social media. “We’ve made a simple film that celebrates the simple pleasures and wishes of life! We offer it to you this Durga Puja! Here are the first snippets from it!” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Parambrata is also busy with several other projects. He is currently shooting Arindam Chatterjee’s political thriller Shibpur. The film also features Swastika Mukherjee, Rajatava Dutta, Kharaj Mukherjee and others. Soon he will be seen as Feluda in Arindam Sil’s Zee5 project. Parambrata is also busy with his national projects. He will be seen as the lead in Pawan Wadeyar’s Hindi film Notary. In Mumbai Diaries 2, he will play a key role with Konkana Sen Sharma. Meanwhile, he finished working with Sudhir Mishra in a part of an anthology of four films by Anubhav Sinha for a leading OTT project. The anthology also features Tapasee Pannu. The actor worked in Jehanabad, a political thriller that will be dropped on Sonyliv.
