Bougainvillea box office collection Day 4: The psychological crime drama film directed by Amal Neerad has received mixed reactions from the audiences. The movie, which stars Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi, has been performing very well at the box office. Despite not receiving unanimously positive reviews, Bougainvillea has reportedly crossed the Rs 25 crore mark with its worldwide box office collection. The project, which stars Fahadh Faasil in a cameo, has now earned ‘hit’ status.
As per the recent updates from trade experts, the Amal Neerad directorial witnessed a decent growth in its box office collection, during its first weekend at the theatres. The worldwide collection of Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi’s film has reportedly crossed the Rs. 25 crore mark. For the uninitiated, Bougainvillea is reportedly made with a budget of around Rs. 18 crore. In that case, it is now safe to suggest that the movie has earned the ‘hit’ status, at the box office.

According to the trade experts, the movie witnessed a major increase in its collection on Day 3 and Day 4, at the theatres (first Saturday and Sunday). Bougainvillea made a great opening at the box office at the box office by collecting over Rs 6.8 crore, Rs 6.3 crore, Rs 7 crore, and Rs 7.1 crore, in its first four days at the theatres, respectively. If things proceed at the same rate, Bougainvillea will cross the Rs 30 crore mark at the worldwide box office, in a couple of days.

However, day 5 aka the first Monday at the theatres is extremely crucial for the Amal Neerad directorial. Even though Bougainvillea might perform well at the box office during the first weekend, trade experts suggest that the movie might witness a major dip in its collections on weekdays, owing to mixed reviews. But still, the multi-starrer psychological drama has been doing extremely well for a film, that has not succeeded in impressing the wide spectrum of audiences.
