Bougainvillea on OTT: Where to watch the Amal Neerad film in Tamil and Hindi

Bougainvillea, the mystery crime thriller film directed by cinematographer-filmmaker Amal Neerad, was released in theatres in October 2024. The movie, which features Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi in the lead roles, received mixed reviews and ended up as an average grosser at the box office. Bougainvillea, which features Fahadh Faasil in a cameo appearance, is set to have its OTT release on December 13, 2024, on the popular streaming platform, Sony LIV.

Bougainvillea Tamil and Hindi on OTT

As reported earlier, Bougainvillea soon start streaming on the popular streaming platform, Sony LIV. Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi’s mystery crime thriller is expected to have its OTT release at the midnight of the upcoming Friday, December 13, 2024. As per the latest updates, the Amal Neerad directorial is expected to stream at the popular platform in five languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The movie will be also available for streaming on OTT Play Premium.

Bougainvillea: Here’s all you need to know

Amal Neerad’s film revolves around the life of Reethu, a young woman who suffers from amnesia, after a fateful accident. Her husband, Dr. Royce Thomas becomes her biggest pillar of strength and supports her throughout the tough times. However, things take a different turn after ACP David Koshy, who leads an investigation on tourists who went missing in Kerala, suspects Reethu’s involvement on the same. Jyothirmayi and Kunchacko Boban play the roles of Reethu and Dr Royce Thomas in the film, while Fahadh Faasil plays ACP David Koshy IPS.

Bougainvillea is jointly scripted by Lajo Jose and director Amal Neerad, himself. Sharaf U Dheen, Srindaa, Veena Nandakumar, Shobi Thilakan, Jinu Joseph, Athira Patel, Vijilesh Karayad, Nisthar Sait, and others essay supporting roles in the film. Sushin Shyam composed the music score. Anend C Chandran is the director of photography. Vivek Harshan handled the editing. Bougainvillea is jointly produced by Jyothirmayi and Kunchacko Boban, under the banners Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures.
