Box Office rejection to OTT success: Oka Pathakam Prakaram surprises everyone with solid views

Sai Ram Shankar is one of the talented actors in Telugu cinema and is looking for that one big hit to make a comeback in his career. His last film, Oka Pathakam Prakaram, did not work at the box office, though the film had decent thrills.

The courtroom drama is now streaming on Sun NXT and has had a great start. As per the latest update, Oka Pathakam Prakaram has surprised everyone and is garnering solid views on OTT. Not many knew that Oka Pathakam Prakaram had even landed on OTT in the first place. But as word of mouth has grown, the thriller is getting a solid response. Sai Ram Shankar is finally getting his due on OTT, as his performance is being praised by all those who saw the film.

Oka Pathakam Prakaram is about a lawyer, played by Sai Ram Shankar. He is framed for two different murders and fights his case in the court of law. How all this unfolds is showcased interestingly. After releasing the film on February 7, 2025, the makers struggled to find an OTT partner for months.

Finally, Sun NXT bagged the digital rights to the film and is now streaming the film to a hit talk. The film also has Bigg Boss Bhanu as the female lead. Vinod Vijayan has directed the film, and he has managed to execute the thrills decently.

Sai Ram Shankar is hardly doing films and was disappointed that his film did not get much theater space at the time of its release due to other biggies. He can now be happy that his film is finally finding the target audience for which it was made. In the days to come, we need to see how the film fares.
