Box Office: Takkar, Vimanam, Unstoppable, and Intinti Ramayanam record horrible occupancy

Tollywood saw as many as four releases last week as films Takkar, Vimanam, Intinti Ramayanam, and Unstoppable released at the box office on 9th June, 2023. But sadly, none of them clicked and have seen very low occupancy across the Telugu states. 

The news is that some of these above said films will be out of theaters by the end of this day. Two of these above said films, Takker and Vimanam were hugely promoted by the makers. Vimanam was a family drama starring Samuthirakani and Anasuya Bharadwaj. The father-son emotional drama saw a few takers on day one and two but its occupancy went down completely on Sunday.

On the other hand, Takkar was Siddharth's comeback film in Telugu but it was panned from the first day itself and saw terrible occupancy over the weekend. The distributors will also lose big money in Telugu states as per the trade. Takkar was bilingual which was also released in Tamil Nadu and the box office story is the same as Telugu states.

The other two films, Intinti Ramayanam and Unstoppable were the low budget films which also released on the same day. Intinti Ramayanam received decent reviews but that did not transform into occupancy as the film had no takers over the weekend. Last but not the least, Diamond Ratnababu's Unstoppable was trashed by critics and audience alike. The film was out of several theatres on the day one itself and is a miserable flop. 

In a way, none of the last week releases in Telugu impressed and the concentration is now on the Prabhas-Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush which will release this week on the 16th of June.
