Box Office: Veera Simha Reddy needs to cross this mark to be a profitable venture

Nandamuri Balakrishna is flying high with back-to-back hits in his career. Last year it was Akhanda which was followed by his OTT show Unstoppable with NBK which was a rage with his fans. Now, his new release, Veera Simha Reddy has started with a bang at the box office.

The day one figure was impressive as the action drama made 23 crores share in Telugu states. The second day also was good as the film amassed four more crores taking its total to 27 crores. As the proper Sankranthi holiday season is on, the collections will be rock solid in the next three days.

But as the film was solid for a high price prior to the release, a trade analyst reveals to us that the film needs to cross the 67 crores share mark to be in a safe zone. Once the film crosses this figure, it will land up in profits. Until then, there will be some danger lurking on this film.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya has also released to a solid occupancy and its day one number is also quite strong. So, in the days to come, the Balayya starrer needs more occupancy at the ticketing windows. Will it happen or not, only time will tell. Gopichand Malineni directs this film which had Shruthi Haasan as the heroine.
