Audiences have been curiously awaiting the next move of director Boyapati Sreenu after the stupendous success of Balakrishna’s Akhanda. Ever since the reports of his collaboration with Ram Pothineni started doing the rounds, it just felt like a picture-perfect combo, considering the strengths of both the director and the actor in the commercial space.

The much-awaited Ram Pothineni-Boyapati film was launched formally today in Hyderabad in the presence of several film dignitaries. While this is the 10th film in Boyapati’s career, it is the 20th for Ram as a lead. The Warriorr producer Srinivasaa Chitturi is reuniting with Ram again for this pan-Indian film to be produced under Srinivasaa Silver Screens.

Pavan Kumar is the presenter of the film. While Burugupalli Siva Ramakrishna switched on the camera, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore had clapped for the first shot directed by Boyapati Sreenu. The script of the untitled film was honorarily handed over to the team by directors N Linguswamy (The Warriorr filmmaker) and Venkat Prabhu.

Expressing his happiness about the film’s launch, Srinivasa Chitturi felt it was a pleasure to associate with Ram again after The Warriorr and called it a prestigious project to be made with high technical standards and huge budget. The film will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, he said.

Boyapati Sreenu has reportedly come up with a massy story tailored to Ram Pothineni’s strengths. More details about the film’s cast and crew will be out shortly. Meanwhile, Ram Pothineni’s The Warriorr, the Tamil-Telugu bilingual hits theatres on July 14.
