The upcoming film will mark Pothineni’s 20th project and is the star’s latest collaboration with Chhitturi after The Warriorr

Fresh off the success witnessed by his last project Akhanda, filmmaker Boyapati Srinu is showing no signs of stopping. The director has already locked in his next project, which will be a pan-Indian film, starring Ram Pothineni in the lead. The film will be bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chhitturi of Silver Screen.
Pothineni took to his official social media handles to share the exciting news, sharing a photograph of him with Chhitturi and Srinu. The star captioned the post, “Super kicked to announce my 20th film! #RAPO20 is #BoyapatiRapo !! Excited to see myself through the eyes of the Daddy of Mass emotions Boyapati garu.🤘Love.. #RAPO”

In a statement, Pothineni expressed his excitement at being a part of the film, calling it a ‘dream project’ of his and echoing his confidence in his director. The Tollywood star also revealed that the film would have a ‘mass appeal’.
Director Srinu has already locked in on a story for the film and the makers are expected to unveil the rest of the details about the film, including its cast and crew, soon.
Meanwhile, Pothineni, who was last seen essaying a starring role in the action thriller Red, is currently awaiting the release of his film The Warriorr, in which he will be seen sharing the screen with Krithi Shetty and Aadhi Pinisetty. The film has also been bankrolled by Chhitturi.
Srinu’s most recent directorial was the 2021 action drama Akhanda, which starred Nandamuri Balakrishna in dual roles. The film went on to become the second highest-grossing Telugu film of the year.
