As SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR, featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, is nearing its release, the film's promotions are going on in full swing. The filmmaker with his lead actors just culminated their India tour with a Ganga Aarti in Varanasi, seeking blessings for the film. The fans have also been eagerly waiting for the movie and their dose of adrenaline keeps shooting high as there are only two days to the count down and the advance bookings are open now. But unfortunately, the fans in Karnataka are not happy about the movie.
People in Karnataka have taken to social media demanding the boycott of the movie in the state. The advance bookings for the Kannada version of RRR opened only a few minutes ago, making many believe that the film isn't releasing in the language in the state of Karnataka. People are calling it an 'injustice' and some are also demanding that the film be boycotted as it has 'forcefully taken' away many screens in the state.
A few people express their disappointment as the film has 'influenced and taken away' screens, which has led to lesser number of shows of James, the last film of Puneeth Rajkumar.
Some have also specified that they do not have anything against the makers or the actor. They are just eager to watch the film in Kannada. Some even said it's the 'distributor' who should be aware of the demand of the movie and distribute the film across the state accordingly.
Later, the moviegoers have realised that the film is also available in Kannada, urging others to check it out.
The makers had announced earlier that the film will be releasing in Telugu and its dubbed version in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and other Indian and foreign languages on March 25.
Apart from Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead, the movie also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Shriya Saran.
