The anticipation for the trailer release of SS Rajamouli's RRR is unmatched and the fervour is unlike anything that an Indian film has witnessed in the recent past. The film set in 1920s India is a fictional take on the friendship between two revolutionary leaders Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran form the stellar lead cast of the pan-Indian film that will have a grand release across the globe on January 7,2022 in five languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

While Jr NTR had shared a glimpse of Ram Charan as Alluri Seetharamaraju in the film's trailer yesterday, it's now the turn of Ram Charan to unveil a sneakpeek of Jr NTR's avatar as Komaram Bheem today. In the glimpse, Jr NTR is seen riding a vintage bike enthusiastically while the scene shifts later to a lake where he gradually rises above the waters. Before we ask for more, the promo ends and makes the wait for the RRR trailer on December 9 feel excruciatingly long.

The launch of RRR's trailer is simultaneously happening across multiple languages in several theatres in the country tomorrow and the makers, DVV Entertainment, are leaving nothing to chance. Ram Charan will be playing a cop in the film, while Alia Bhatt is to be seen as Sita, his cousin and love interest. Jr NTR and Olivia Morris are paired alongside one another. Drishyam pair Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran are reuniting for the project, cast as husband and wife, parents to two children.

Three songs from the film which has music by MM Keeravaani have been launched already - Dosti, Naatu Naatu and Janani/Uyire. While Dosti was more of a promo number, Naatu Naatu is a full on dance number. Janani, in the words of SS Rajamouli, is the film's soul anthem. The film's trailer release was planned for December 3 earlier, but was pushed later due to reasons best known to the team. RRR will lock horns with several biggies like Radhe Shyam, Bheemla Nayak and Valimai, when it releases for Sankranti 2022.
