Ranbir Kapoor revealed that Brahmastra 2's script is now finished, and production would probably start near the end of next year.
Ranbir Kapoor's forthcoming movie, Animal, is currently making headlines. Rashmika Mandanna and the actor will be seen on-screen together for the first time. The teaser has already increased interest in the movie, which also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. Meanwhile, the actor revealed details about Brahmastra 2, another highly anticipated project, during a recent Zoom discussion with his fans.
During the interaction, Ranbir revealed that Brahmastra 2's script is now finished, and production would probably start near the end of next year. He emphasized that the Brahmastra filmmakers have taken the feedback and criticism from the first film seriously and are dedicated to not making those errors again.
Ranbir said, “Brahmastra Part 2 is heavy into writing. We are working on it all the time. It’s just last week that Ayan narrated the film to me and he has gone 10 times bigger than Part 1 – his idea, his thought, the character.
The Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani actor also revealed that Ayan is currently working on War 2 and plans to finish it by mid-next year. The Brahmastra team, according to Ranbir will start shooting for the second installment by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025. He added, "We have put everything into consideration, the dialogue and comments on Shiva and Isha’s missing chemistry. A lot of criticism was constructive and we have taken that into our stride and we are trying to understand that and go beyond that.

The story of Brahmastra centers on a character named Shiva (Ranbir), who sets out with Isha (Alia), a woman he falls in love with at first sight, on a quest to discover the source of his exceptional abilities.
The film, which was produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Star Studios, also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. Shah Rukh Khan and Nagarjuna make cameo appearances in the movie.
