Brahmastra actress Alia Bhatt announces she finally got into IIT, here's why

Alia Bhatt is presently promoting her forthcoming flick Brahmastra with husband Ranbir Kapoor. The actor visited IIT Bombay on Saturday as part of the promotions and posted a comment that a lot of engineering graduates and aspirants could relate to.

The actress, who visited the Mumbai campu wearing a beige top and denim bellbottoms, shared a few images of her outfit on Instagram with the caption, "IIT Bombay .. here we come!!! thanks to promotions at least I can proudly say I got into IIT(for one hour) 9th September — BRAHMĀSTRA."

Several of the actress' fans filled the comments thread with heart emoticons and complimented her appearance.

Alia charmed the youngsters at the academic institution during the visit by also performing Kesariya from Brahmastra. Ranbir applauded her as he sat next to her on stage.

Previously, Ranbir, Baahubali filmmaker SS Rajamouli as well as south star Nagarjuna were in Chennai to promote the movie. Furthermore, on September 2, Telugu superstar NTR Jr is scheduled to appear at a promotional event in Hyderabad.

Brahmastra's director Ayan Mukerji made the following announcement on Instagram: “NTR for Brahmastra. Through the journey of this movie, there have been some very big personalities and achievers who have left me short of words with their generosity towards us. Another such Star in Brahmastra's Sky is now NTR... who is going to shine bright as he always does, at our movie's biggest event in Hyderabad! Coming together with Ranbir, Alia, Nag Sir, our Team, and of course Rajamouli Garu, for whom my love, respect, and gratitude has no boundaries. So excited about Tarak giving Brahmastra some love and energy, and helping us take our movie into the Telugu Universe.”

Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva is one of the most eagerly awaited movies of the year. It is scheduled to hit theatres on September 9. The film also includes Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in major roles.
