Brahmastra's 3D advance debuted on Friday at a few select locations, and it was a sight for sore eyes. The advance got off to a great start in terms of post-pandemic conditions, and it may still be deemed positive when viewed from a pre-pandemic perspective.
As per Box Office India, the film has sold over 10,000 tickets for the weekend on select screenings and select sites since the advance began yesterday morning, which is excellent—in fact, astonishing in the wake of the epidemic. Other chains' advancements started opening later and obviously produced less, but they would eventually catch up.
This will be the best advance for a Hindi movie outside of KGF: Chapter 2 that has been seen since the pandemic, as well as the best advance for Hindi-language original content. There are huge expectations for the movie, which also features a tremendously successful song, Kesariya, and a powerful acting duo in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The advance was the first test, and it passed with flying colours. However, the true test will come on Friday, when it will be seen how far those mass circuits can take this big movie, which depends on those markets.
The trading website also reported that the movie will get criticism, but hopefully it will be good enough to silence the haters because when a movie is fantastic, people don't care about the garbage that circulates on social media and in the digital realm.
The advancements of the two most recent big-budget movies, Shamshera and Laal Singh Chaddha, did not go through because they were not pushed as hard toward release, and as long as it does not occur here, Brahmastra will sit on a healthy number on Thursday night.
Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukerji and also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy, and others in pivotal roles. The film hits the big screens on September 9, 2022.
