Brahmastra: Amitabh Bachchan unveils Ranbir Kapoor's terrific first look ahead of motion poster release

The countdown for the release of Brahmastra is finally starting. Ahead of the motion poster release, Amitabh Bachchan released a video featuring Ranbir Kapoor. The teaser has the legendary actor's voiceover describing the character of Shiva, played by RK in Ayan Mukerji's directorial. The short video has the Rockstar actor spreading his arms and posing with a divinity. Big B captioned the video, "Our journey of sharing Brahmāstra with the world is finally beginning!"

Bachchan also added, "Love.. Light.. Fire.. Brahmāstra Motion Poster out tomorrow.. #brahmastra @brahmastrafilm."

Earlier, while hinting about Brahmastra's release, Mukerji had shared a BTS photo of RK playing with fire. He wrote, "The Time Feels Right. Two and a half years ago, I started this Instagram journey, with Brahmāstra's release a few months away. Then, we needed more time to perfect the movie. Then, I fell off of Instagram. Then, the world stopped for a while. Through all of this, every single day, Brahmāstra has been ON! Growing with all the love and dedication it needs! Waiting patiently for its time. That Time is Here. It is time to start sharing Brahmāstra. It is time to launch something from Brahmāstra. It's time for another, but this time for a final release date! Brahmastra features Alia Bhatt as the female lead and marks Ranbir's first outing on the big screen. The film also stars Akkineni Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, and Dimple Kapadia in supporting roles. Brahmastra is touted to be a trilogy, and the first instalment has been awaited for more than two years now. 

Moreover, the film also has Shah Rukh Khan in a special appearance, much to the excitement of his fans.
