Brahmastra: Ayan Mukerji to direct a spin-off on Shah Rukh Khan's character from Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor starrer?

Ayan Mukerji is on roll with Brahmastra's box office performance all over the world. The filmmaker managed to hide several interesting angles of the film from the audience before the release to provide them with a better experience. The second part of the movie has recently been announced, meanwhile now a new revelation related to Shah Rukh Khan and the fantasy drama flick is doing rounds among the audience.

King Khan's special appearance left the audience stunned and pleasantly surprised. The superstar essayed the role of a scientist named Mohan Bhargav, who possesses the power of Vanarastra.

After witnessing fans' massive reaction and love to Sha Rukh's stint in the flick, Ayan teased the viewers with a piece of ecstatic news. In an interview with Indianexpress.com, the director mentioned that even before the audience's reaction while shooting the particular sequence in 2019, the crew has been wondering to do more with the Zero actor's character.

“As we discovered the personality of the scientist, we said, ‘Yaar, we have to do stuff. We have to do the origins story of the scientist!'” he added.

Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy among others, is currently running in cinemas. 

The fantasy drama flick is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar post its theatrical run.
