In around two and a half days flat, Brahmastra has outperformed RRR (Hindi) and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 at PVR chain locations. The other locations have not yet caught up, but this is particularly so because there are only a few properties and advance-screening screens available.

As per Box Office India, the PVR chain is the best example for comparison because it opened early on Friday and has the most advanced screens available. Even so, Brahmastra still has a lot of screens to open up, whereas the other two movies witnessed progress on every screen. The comparison of the three PVR films may be found below. The number of tickets sold is shown by the numbers in brackets. Because Brahmastra only offers 3D performances, its ticket prices are typically higher. Even with 3D, the ticket prices will be the highest ever for a Hindi movie.

RRR (Hindi) minted about Rs 2.19 crore by selling 79,000 tickets by Thursday night before the release. While Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 raked in Rs 2.15 crore by selling 90,000 tickets on Thursday night,

Talking about Brahmastra, the film has already collected Rs 2.30 crore by selling 80K till Sunday night and three days are left for the release of the film.

So it would be interesting to see where the movie finishes up. On Sunday night, the limited release's advance for the movie was around Rs 5 crore nett plus.

Ayan Mukerji wrote and directed the fantasy adventure film Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva. It is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Namit Malhotra, and Mukerji under the production companies Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, and Prime Focus in partnership with Star Studios, together with Ranbir Kapoor and Marijke DeSouza.

In it, Amitabh Bachchan, Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni appear. The film is meant to be the first in a planned trilogy as part of its own cinematic universe termed Astraverse, which is based on the Hollywood Marvel Cinematic Universe.
