Brahmastra, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, had another successful weekend at the box office. The film has received positive reviews and is performing well at the box office. However, a lot of people are criticising the movie for having weak plots and unclear storylines. Both viewers and reviewers have discussed the flaws in the movie, ranging from the poor portrayal of Alia's role as Isha to the dialogue. Ayan Mukerji, the film's director, and Ranbir-Alia reacted to all these allegations, while for the first time, producer Karan Johar also addressed a Twitter user.
In a scene from the film Brahmastra, Ranbir and Alia are tasked with locating Guruji, portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan, who lives in a hidden ashram. Anish Shetty, played by Nagarjuna, assists them by entering the ashram's whereabouts through Google Maps.
On Sunday, a user on Twitter commented in reference to this event, asking, "Tell me how that ashram is secret and the address of the ashram is on Google maps? By this logic, the movie has earned 300 crs. This is what Indian creativity is?"
Karan replied to the tweet by writing, "The Guru is living like any other person in the real world… No one knows he is the leader of the BRAHMANSH! That his is the Astras' home... So his address with his name in the real world is, of course, on Google Maps!"
In their movie Brahmastra, which hit theatres on September 9, Alia and Ranbir made their first joint appearance. The Ayan Mukerji-directed movie has created quite a stir. The movie is the first in a series that will introduce viewers to the vast cinematic universe known as the Astraverse. Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna all had important roles in the movie. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan also makes a brief cameo. The film's creators revealed on Friday that the global box office total had surpassed Rs 300 crore.
