The fantasy adventure movie Brahmastra became one of Bollywood's biggest successes after the outbreak. The movie has indeed been praised a lot for its amazing central concept and stunning visuals. Director Ayan and producer Karan Johar recently spoke with reporters about creating Brahmastra as well as completing a venture of this magnitude. Following the film's premiere, Karan Johar said that he couldn't sleep.

Karan revealed, however, that following the Brahmastra audience screenings on Thursday, September 8, he received a significant number of texts. According to Pinkvilla, Karan explained, "There were a couple of messages that were so wonderful to read. It was very heartening. And there were some messages that came in that were completely extreme, and I felt like my blood pressure had dropped. I felt, ‘Oh my God, what if we’ve gone completely wrong.’ And this is something I couldn’t even share with Ayan or the team."

Karan proceeded by comparing the film's tension to that of a parent. He said that he was anxious for all the children who had dedicated their lives to this movie. Karan went on, "That night I didn’t sleep a wink. It wasn’t that I was crying, it was just that I could feel like this was really a big deal. It’s a new universe, and there are going to be extreme reactions. But the film, just like the process, really fought at the box office."

The first Brahmastra movie debuted in theatres on September 9 and earned positive reviews from both critics and spectators. The film's attempted love theme and clumsy dialogue also let down the moviegoers, whereas a few of the characters as well as the movie's overarching plotline captivated watchers. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy are among the cast members. Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan both make brief appearances in the movie. It is official that the sequel to the franchise, Brahmastra Part Two: Dev, will hit theatres on December 20, 2025.
