Brahmastra motion poster: Amitabh Bachchan is The Wise Leader holding PRABHĀSTRA: The Sword of Light

Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmāstra – Part One: Shiva is one of the year's highly anticipated films. Karan Johar, the producer of the movie, shared a motion poster of the film introducing Amitabh Bachchan's character. The fantasy adventure flick also has Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in crucial roles.

Karan took to his official Instagram profile to unveil Big B's character and information related to his part in the movie. The latest poster features the veteran star in his character holding a shiny sword in his hand with an aggressive expression, while one of Brahmastra's background scores can be heard along in the post. 

KJo shared the image with a special caption that reads, "गुरू है गंगा ज्ञान की । काटे भाव का पाश गुरू उठा ले अस्त्र जब । करे पाप का नाश Ek aisi Roshni jismein hai… har andhere ko haraane ki Shakti. Here comes GURU! The Wise Leader who holds the PRABHĀSTRA: The Sword of Light! (sic)."

The filmmaker also reminded his followers that the trailer of Brahmāstra – Part One: Shiva is all set to drop on June 15.

Ranbir essays Shiva Oberoi, who fights against evil, while Alia portrays a characters name Isha, who is the love interest of the former. The upcoming movie also has Dimple Kapadia, Divyendu Sharma, Dhruv Sehgal and Saurav Gurjar as supporting characters. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is playing the role of a scientist in an extended cameo appearance.

Director Ayan Mukerji has also written the film alongside Hussain Dalal. While, apart from Karan Johar, Brahmastra is also produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, Apoorva Mehta, Namit Malhotra and Marijke Desouza under the banners named Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures. 

Brahmāstra – Part One: Shiva is set to hit cinemas on September 9, 2022.
