Some spoke of how they would be playing the song on a continuous loop, and many even seemed to have gotten emotional while listening to the track. ‘Kesariya is love’, wrote one user, while another spoke of how the song will take the film’s buzz to a whole new level.

Many netizens referred to the track as the ‘song of the decade’. One user lauded Ranbir and Alia’s chemistry, the ‘heartwarming’ lyrics and Arijit’s ‘beautiful’ vocals. Users also predicted that the wong would be a ‘chartbuster’.

But it seems that some viewers did not take well to a part of the song’s lyrics in its Hindi version. Many viewers pointed out how odd the words ‘love storiya’ sounded in the song.
